Consider that we are flying through Space around our Sun at 100,000 km per hour. And the Sun, in fact our whole solar system - orbits around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy at an average speed of 828,000 km/hr. But even at that high rate, it still takes us, our solar system, about 230 million years (!) to make one complete orbit around the Milky Way Galaxy! - And our Milky Way Galaxy is only one relatively small one - of Billions upon Billions of Galaxies ! Imagine - if one even could, how vast the whole Universe is - and how many Civilizations and Beings must be Out There !

With an estimated 2 trillion galaxies in our observable Universe, with trillion upon trillions of planets, it is feasible that there are billions of intelligent beings of all shapes and sizes existing in the Vastness of the Universe ! -
