Hartmut, if I didn't think it belonged, I wouldn't have suggested it. TTT is for stories of any sort. They aren't all fiction. Just take me somewhere I haven't been.

Hartmut Jager replied:

Aah I see, thank you Jim for your valued information. Shows that one can still learn something new every day . :-) :-) :-)

Hartmut, this work is featured in FONT ART. LF .. Please consider submitting this to TELL TALL TALES .. http://fineartamerica.com/groups/tell-tall-tales.html

Hartmut Jager replied:

Thank You Very Much Big Six for featuring my 'Strange Event' in your 'FONT ART' group- and I greatly appreciate your LF votes. :-) As for submitting my story to 'TELL TALL TALES' I'm not sure it fits in there, because Tell Tall Tales usually refers to fibbs, or exaggerated stories. My story happens to be true. :-) But I will have a look at the 'Tall Tales' Website anyway. Thank you for sending it. :-)

Artist's Description

On day, while painting, out of the blue I suddenly felt sick and had to lie down on my bed.
As I was lying fully awake in my dark bedroom suddenly, right on the
wall opposite my bed, there appeared a huge spiral galaxy against a star
studded universe, just like on a big cinema screen.
The Spiral revolved very slowly, majestically anti-clockwise around it brightly glowing center. All the stars were vivid and in such amazing sharp focus
that I could have easily counted every one of them.

Then - these strange golden metallic looking writing / hieroglyphic symbols
appeared, beginning on the left and then rolling like a movie title to the right.
They just hung there, floating over the the Galaxy like a delicate, yet big spaceship.
After about 3-5 minutes it all faded away as quickly as it came...
A few days later I painted that strange and mysterious event.

(I added a few elements in this current digital -painting version.)
