If you consider the vast size of our Milky Way Galaxy – then there must be millions upon millions of intelligent beings out there in the unimaginable gigantic enormousness of the Universe with (according to the latest scientific estimates) 200 billion to 2 trillion (! ! !) Galaxies - then the idea of a God who sends his son to
Earth to suffer a miserably death on a cross becomes quite ridiculous, as do all religions that are based on similar ideas of a supernatural, 'wrathful god-being’ who lords over us - not with love - but with cold rules and demanding obedience - as is expected of lowly Slaves.
Worse, to think - that we went around killing people in the name of a false or non-existing god - for absolutely nothing - in all of our religious wars, as the current ISIS and other brain-dead fanatics still do today.
Surely aliens must think that we are afflicted with a horrible disease - called war.
