Thank you Master Dave for your astute comments. It seems that our 'errors' will continue - as long as Earth is a school - a learning / experiencing planet. :-)

What a profound work of art Sir Hartmut. It seems that for every step humankind advances he takes two backwards. You earn the "Great Minds" gold cup trophy Master Hartmut l.v,f,

This is powerful and profound! Confrontational and intimate . . . Deeply touching and disturbing . . . and beautifully drawn!....fv
Hartmut Jager replied:
Thank you Karen for your great comments. It is indeed disturbing that no progress has been made in the field of creating a better world. Perhaps there is a higher reason or purpose behind it ? I appreciate your generous fv votes too. :-)

This is a very stirring portrait - not easily forgotten. There are so many facets to ponder; it captures the imagination; one wants to hear his story.
I'ina Van Lawick
Powerful portrait. The failures get the news. Luckily hidden under all the hype there are many great things happening that we do not hear about, probably good news it not exciting enough.
Hartmut Jager replied:
Thank you I'ina for your astute and valued comments. Indeed - if we only listen to, or only watch the mostly negative news, then we get a wrong image of the world. :-)

The reason seems to be that human nature, being so deeply faceted, has all too many facets that are counter productive to the well being of all. Such a shame... when will we ever learn? Great work my friend.
Hartmut Jager replied:
Possibly so, but as I said to Eston, another explanation could be that our planet is a 'school' where new and old souls are constantly coming and going. And those differences in 'awareness levels' may cause our permanent conflicts. :-)
