Description

A massive volcanic eruption destroyed the Island of ancient Thera (Santorini) and the following Tsunami swept away the highly advanced Minoan Empire and affected many other Mediterranean countries as well. Besides the many speculations and legends, many archaeologists, and the latest research, indicate that the Minoan Empire was Atlantis. Considering that there happened no other catastrophic destruction on such a massive scale, before and after the Minoan Empire, Thera is the most likely and
logical choice of having been Atlantis.
