I definitely prefer that Turkeys run free. We've destroyed our environment to the point that much of Nature isn't natural anymore, but, "human" designed. I also think that it is so silly that everyone thinks that they need to ALL eat the same menu on the same day-overeat- then waste leftovers.... Maybe T-Day should be a part of our new wave of "Cancel Culture"? NOT saying that I don't love your art/humor, cause I do.

Hartmut Jager replied:

Thank You MAUREEN for your poignant comments! - Yes, it is indeed a very silly custom - especially if you are a Turkey - and it should be done away with - as should be the sick and atrocious shooting of wild animals by cowardly, mainly White and Rich 'Macho-Macho Men' Safari Hunters ! -

I rarely comment as I administer 4 groups and feature work by others. Such is this humorous look at turkeys! Mostly those remarking about their likes of turkey! Very reminiscent of the boy when asked by his teacher: "what is your favorite animal?" the boy replied "Fried Chicken" Hartmut; you never cease to amaze with your talent! Kudos. for the record I do not use any social media just this website. So I added this to my favorites here!

Hartmut Jager replied:

Thank You Very Much R JOHN - for your greatly valued Favorite Vote and for your especially kind words about my art ! - Your Quote of: "What is your favorite animal?" the boy replied "Fried Chicken" - although darkly funny - it shows, and is an indication, of how far we have removed ourselves (as a global society) from Nature ! ...and thereby forgetting that - Without Nature - we Humans will become Extinct ! -

This is fun. You created a very humorous comic. I love humor in art. It would make a perfect Thanksgiving greeting card. l/f

Hartmut Jager replied:

Thank you G B for your appreciated I/f votes and 'fun' comments. I wonder though, how many would appreciate getting my greeting card while they gobble down a turkey ? :-)

I was brought up on a turkey farm. They're territorial and mean. I'm not so sure I'd want them running around, at least not in the hundreds+. LF

Hartmut Jager replied:

Thank you Famous Formerly 6 Artist, for your instructive comment. Sure, in the hundreds they would be a (mean) nuisance. Thank you for your precious LF votes. :-)
