Ha! Today I got stung several times by those gritters while cutting off a few branches from an overgrown plant which were too close to their three nests the wasps were busy building. - Before you call me names, in me defense I did not have my glasses on, and their quite small nests were well hidden from my limited view. While annoying, I thought they are only defending their homes, so I let them be... (if allergic to wasp stings - stay far away - and see a doctor if stung!)
