Thank you very much Rosy for your most generous comments - and your greatly appreciated VF votes. I belief that the Minoan Empire was Atlantis, before it was destroyed by that terrible volcano and then finished off by invading Greeks.

Well, judging by the blissful smile on your subjects face, which immediately attracted me to this work, I would think, however it was, it was very nice indeed. For some, anyway! Was there ever an almost perfect civilization anywhere I wonder, or does everything reach a certain high point and then deteriorate. Seems like everything moves in cycles and waves. You produce so many inspiring and imaginative images Hartmut. This golden beauty is another one of them ! v/f
Hartmut Jager replied:
Thank you Jane for your very kind and astute comments - and your much appreciated v/f votes. Given human nature, I doubt there was or ever will be a perfect society. Many say that the Minoan Empire was the closest to that and that Minoa was Atlantis which was destroyed by the eruption of the volcano on Thera/Santorini.
