So very beautiful portrait portrait of this minoian priestess. One of my favourite novels describes the period just before Thera was destroyed by a big volcano that left only a bit of it and the giant wave that was formed drank the Minoian culture. I have wandered around in the remains of Knossos. Mighty! FL

I once visited Knossos on the isle of Crete. I had a subliminal feeling that they were a civilization that was more intellectually inclined, in comparison to their contemporaries. Were they Atlanteans....the imagination is sweetly intrigued.
