Of the many pieces I love in your work...this is Truly INSPIRED and MASTERFUL!...and, oooh, the moonlight...I hear the waves lapping against the ship...Memories of times enjoyed. When a painting evokes memories, it is truly a treasured moment in eternity. You KNOW this will have my vote!..:-))

You MUST KNOW this is perhaps my ALLTIME FAVORITE of your portfolio, Hartmut! I cannot help but gaze into this remembering many a cruising evening ( different ocean...same MAGIC) looking very much like this with the moonlight flicking its trance upon the waves and taking me back with it...not wanting to waste the clarity of the moment or shattering the awakened dream... by sleeping!
